I just wanted to tell you that I bought your starter pack of Equitch for my miniature horse Jack.  He was covered in Queensland Itch.  You gave me a great deal of assistance with getting the treatment right and I got started on 3lst December 09.  I also kept him covered with a light cotton rug during this time.
 
Three weeks later it is just about gone!!!!  I am amazed how well it works.  The only bare patches left are around his face and that is because I haven't been using the product so thoroughly near his eyes as I am worried about it stinging as it smells so strong.
 
Anyway, once again a big thank you from Jack and myself.  I think I have enough to keep me going this season but I will definitely be a returning customer before the next season starts.

From the first application of Itch No-More for dogs I noticed an improvement in Rocky's skin condition.  Three weeks later his many sores are long gone, his hair is growing back and his overall health and disposition are markedly improved.  After two awful years of getting nowhere with this problem I’d all but lost hope of ever seeing him happy and relaxed again.

Treating Rocky one day I noticed that the throbbing jumping ant bite on my finger had actually stopped hurting.  I couldn’t believe it and it made me realize that his continued scratching must be more out of habit than actual discomfort so I started putting a soft muzzle on him for an hour or so after treating him. Unable to compulsively lick and no longer irritated he would rest deeply for hours.  It has helped train him out of this destructive and deeply entrenched pattern of behaviour.

I have no idea what environmental factors cause the hot spots to appear but with one application of the ointment, in under an hour, they're gone.

I highly recommend this product, it has far exceeded my expectations and I even use it on my own bites and stings now.

I ran out half way through summer and tried a couple of other products that i could buy locally and they didn't work. he has rubbed his mane so much i had to cut it off, so we can start again and I will be able to get to the skin there properly and sort him out.  have been using your products for about 4 years and they are the only thing that works for my boy. They are great products, start working immediately and last for ages. I particularly love the salve as it doesn't just get rained off and the spray is great for getting into tails and manes. When I first discovered your product my boy was so itchy that he had broken the skin in some places and about a quarter of his body was effected. I certainly should have taken some before and after photos. it was such a relief to find something that worked after trying so many different products.
i will check the mail today and see if it has arrived and get started, he will be a happy boy and i will be happy to know that he is comfy again.

Hi Bet,

 I just want to thank you for a wonderful product. We have used it on a neighbour’s buckskin neck and tail area. This mare was in very bad shape. When you touched her she quivered and her skin was so dry it was like the crackling on roast pork! Within 3 days the skin had softened and by the end of the week hair was growing back to our amazement. She can now roam free UNRUGGED! Something we never thought would be possible. My big black Percheron has also had trouble with itch; he would sit down on his hind legs and rub his rump almost raw. Now he too is itch free. The only indication of itch is his ears, which we are still working on. Mind you we have only been using the treatment for 3 weeks.

Thank you, we will be ordering again and spreading the word. Are you still looking for distributors? Our local produce store is most impressed with the sample we gave them.

Equitch has just about cleared up a really bad case of greasy heel on my husband's beautiful palomino Paint mare.  She had been being cared for by someone else for a while ... and by the time I got her back, there were scabs from heels all the way to as high as above the hock; really nasty.  Now clean (or very nearly), and pink skin is slathered with zinc cream.
 
Just in case we get something like this again ... I'd like to order a 2L bucket of salve.  Can you confirm that total cost is $107 - or has it gone up?  Also - shelf life?  Does it last a long time? And do you have any suggestions about maintenance treatment for a horse who has suffered bad greasy heel?

Just to let you know. Your product is great. I can't believe how fast it is working on greasy heel. I have been trying to get rid of this infection for nearly twelve months, and nothing has come close to the Equitch healing.

Dear Bet

Is the Equitch formulation the same as the itch no more for dogs? I have a couple of horses as well as my Jack Russell Terrier that I use Itch no more on. Can I economise and buy the horse stuff & use on both?
By thI way, the dog has not needed vet visits for itchiness since using itch no more salve. She still gets itchy but any sign of major scratching I rub some on and she seems to be less uncomfortable after application and doesn't deteriorate to a scabby mess!
Used some on the horse for a probable tick scab in forelock and healed overnite!

Just thought I would let you know how my guinea pig went with your product. Your product is fantastic the guinea pigs skin is completely clear now, I have tried so many products that have'nt worked so I was a bit skeptical before I tried your product.  Have you thought of selling your product in pet stores as I am sure a lot more people would see your product then.

I am just writing to say that your product has really helped my horse's greasy heal on his 2 front feet. His skin is pink and healthy looking and hair is regrowing really well, just a few small scabs left I am working on. He is pretty well white all over and I had tried cortisone based products which did not seem to help so I was getting very worried. Also, I found your treatment tips really helpful and practical. Because the scabs peel off painlessly he has learned to stand up and mind his manners during what must seem to him a tiresome process! One question - in terms of prevention, once he is entirely clear, should I keep up spraying the pastern area every 2-3 days?

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with the product (starter pack) that I purchased from you on 17th March. Within a couple of weeks the itchy scabs had cleared up on my horse's face, forelock and around his ears and top of his mane. I have been rugging him since end February but I don't believe those little 'no see um' flies have disappeared just yet so I'm still using the spray wipe on as a precautionary measure until the real onset of winter - that is, if we get one this year !

Early this summer two of my mares developed greasy heel . Unfortunately between them they have 6 white stockings and all 6 were afflicted ! For many weeks I diligently tried all the conventional treatments, including veterinary treatment of I/M antibiotics and cortisone creams, sulphur creams, zinc creams etc. etc.  To my horror, during this whole period the problem got worse and worse, with horrendous spreading of the scabbing and infection, and terrible swelling. 
In desperation I searched internet sites and came across a testimonial for Equitch, which led me to the Equitch website. Luckily I decided to try the spray/lotion !  Within days of treatment there was marked improvement, then within a period of a few weeks the greasy heel was almost gone.
In fact it was completely cured on the 3yo filly who was stabled at night , and she has now begun her ridden career. It took a little longer with the broodmare who was out in the elements with a foal on her, but she is now OK.
An extra benefit is that the Equitch also helped fantastically with the Itch which 3 of my mares have. It reduced the itching and grew hair back very quickly. I use it lightly every few days now to keep it at bay.

 I purchased Equitch Spray/Wipe on and Salve from you back in January and I just wanted to let you know that your products work like MAGIC.
 We tried them on my horse Pedro as he had quite a few bites and ticks on him and in a matter of about a week – the lumps and bumps were all gone, no ticks and his coat was completely smooth.  It is great.  I am so impressed with your products, you can count me in as a regular customer.

My Rain Scald Experience

My 5 year old (at the time) appaloosa started bucking one day out on a trail ride, very unusual for him. It was just little bucks like something was bothering him so I got off and walked the rest of the way.
Next day I called the Chiropractor. He said my horse was fit and healthy but had found scabs under his fur and told me it was rain scald.
So instantly I got on the internet to read all about it. I tried several products from the livestock store was told to wash him and pick the scabs off and then apply the creams.
Nothing worked and his condition got worse. The more I washed him, the worse it got.  Rang the Vet and they gave him quartizone shots and penicillin. It started to get better. I had to keep a cotton rug on him because he had so many bald spots and it was summer time, but then he would sweat in the rug and it all flared up again.
I was told to try tomato dust, mix it into a paste and smear it on. By this time I had to put my horse in the cattle crush just to get near his back, he was in so much pain and discomfort. This bug called rain scald had even moved in all around his bottom, he had a thick crust of scab covering all the white parts of his body. (the pictures are of him after I had removed the scabs only to reveal his raw pink sore skin).  I had tried all the fungi creams, derma washes, betadine, bleach.  My poor horse. I was getting very depressed that I couldn't relieve his discomfort and that even the Vet couldn't help me.
Back to the internet, and I came across EQUITCH made in Australia, I ordered the salve and the spray, express post and it came the next day. Back to the cattle crush with my freak of nature. I smeared on the salve put his cotton rug on and sent him back to his paddock.
The next day I removed the cotton rug and smeared more salve on. After a few days the cotton rug became very built up with the waxy substance so I washed it in hot water.
I decided I would use the spray but my horse was scared of the spray bottle, so I tried to sponge it on but he wouldn't let me near him, so I lay the cotton rug down and sprayed it with the EQUITCH spray, put the cotton back on him and then his winter rug over the top as it was winter by this stage.
I did this every 2nd day for 2 weeks. By the 3rd week I brushed him down and all the scabs had lifted and were just brushing off onto the ground. I had noticed that it had been also in the brown coloured parts on his body. A couple of days later I noticed new hair growth. Within 2 months he was completely back to normal.
It is now summertime again and he is out in the rain and sun with no rug. Occasionally I just sponge him over with the EQUITCH spray and his coat is beautiful. I am back in the saddle again.
I have so much faith in this product as I had tried so many products over the 10 months of dealing with this problem and there was nothing to use as a preventative. EQUITCH is my preventative now, just a sponge over every now and then and no more rain scald.

The Welsh pony I have has had some very large bald spots from itching and rubbing which after 10 days treatment has improved dramatically with decreased inflammation and appearance of hair growth. He also is much happy. My Quarter horse comes up to me at night for his treatment and he is certainly rubbing less and appears to be less attacked by insects and therefore less sores.
I went to HorseLand today at Coffs Harbour and told them about my results and said they needed to stock this product. She said she would follow up with you.
I will shortly be putting in my next order and recommending to others.

Itch No-more works a treat. Our dog Ellie is in much better condition than she was at this time last year. She's such a good dog, all I have to say is "show me your belly" and she rolls over so I can have a look for any offending spots. She's very patient with me smearing the salve all over her. 
And you wouldn't believe it, our other dog Trev (who's tough as old boots and never gets anything wrong with him) developed a hot spot the other day - we only had to put the salve on twice and that fixed it up.
To say we're pleased with your product would be an understatement. Thanks for all the hard work you put in over the years it took you to develop this product.

Thought I'd let you know how it’s going. Well after the bit of a rough start and almost 4 weeks on I would recommend this product to anyone having skin problems with their dog. I didn't tell you that this dog also has a lick dermatitis (lick granduloma I think that’s the "proper" name) proudflesh; on her front leg. Vet had treated it by injections of cortisone under it to no avail; the next step with the vet would have been "mind altering drugs" (out of the question). I decided to do my own research on the internet that led me to treatments as desperate as body piercings with pointed studs to deter licking, one uni study even plastered the dog’s leg and wrapped it in barbed wire to have the dog start another on its other leg. Most results ended with a return to the condition after a shot respite, often the condition would be worse. I believed this thing!! had no cure....BUT I do believe after using your products 4 weeks I can say my little foxie is well on the way to recovery. I'm still using the salve every second day. Hope that’s ok but I just want to stay on top of it. Already it’s reduced in size by 50% and is no longer raised and angry looking. General itching has decreased on rest of the body unless she gets "a bite" when she'll scratch raw but by daily checks and an application of salve it generally clears overnight. She is still having troubles with her ears, I have started to treat them with olive oil in each ear over a one month period which seems to be giving some relief. Thanks for a wonderful product. I will be reordering shortly.
