She is a beautiful older girl now and at some stage has been gently trained for and been around children enough to know that safety is there. Milly is one of the rescue horses bought from a "dogger's yard" and has suffered great fear and pain. She arrived from Queensland just after equine influenza with a couple of broken ribs and has, after 3 years turned the corner of trust with me. She has the sweetest, kindest nature and tells me much through her behaviour.

Milly has the woolliest winter coat ever created. It is thick, soft and plentiful from mid autumn until the beginning of summer. To remove it is an incredible task. There are bag loads of it. Milly is patient during the process. Amazingly, the birds always seem to want it and for nesting it is prime and prized material.
